This policy describes how Greys Fine Cheese & Entertaining ("GREYS", "we") handles personal information collected through the staff portal at staff.greyscheese.com, including our employee SMS notification program.
The staff portal stores information our employees provide for scheduling purposes: name, employee ID, work role and location, weekly availability, time-off requests, and — if an employee chooses to add them — an email address and mobile phone number for notifications.
Employees may opt in to text message notifications by entering their mobile number on the schedule page of the staff portal. Messages are limited to work-related notifications: published work schedules and schedule changes, reminders the day before a scheduled shift, time-off request decisions, shift swap updates, and team announcements from a manager. Message frequency varies with scheduling activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is optional and is not a condition of employment.
Employees can stop text notifications at any time by removing their mobile number on the schedule page of the staff portal, by replying STOP to any message, or by asking a manager to remove their number. Reply HELP for help.
Information collected through the staff portal is used only to operate staff scheduling and workplace communication. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messages are delivered through Twilio, our messaging provider, solely to transmit the notifications described above.
Contact information is kept while an employee is on the active roster and is removed when their record is deleted. Data is stored with our hosting provider using industry-standard security controls, and write access is restricted to managers.
